Hungry for Success

To implement the recommendations contained in the Scottish Executive's guidelines Hungry for Success a Steering Group was setup within Aberdeen City. Members of this group currently are as follows:

Liz Goodge, Education Officer - Chair
Christine Hay, Catering Supervisor
Neil Hendry, Depute Head, St Machar Academy
Fiona Leslie, Catering Supervisor
Fiona Matthew, Health Improvement Advisor - Catering
Elaine McConnachie, Health Improvement Officer - Schools
Kate Milne, Depute Head, Cults Primary
Sue Muncer, Head Teacher, Northfield Academy
Kathleen Thompson, Home Economics Teacher, Bridge of Don Academy
Susan Wiseman, Hungry for Success Co-ordinator

The recommendations contained in Hungry for Success were to be in place within all primary schools in the City by December 2006. The Steering group have been busy ensuring the recommendations for secondary schools are in place by December 2006.
