Stroke Training Course/Study Days – 2017

Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland aim to provide a learning environment where
members of the Multi-Disciplinary team, from Health and Social Care sectors,
may learn from both the content of the course and from one another. Course content will be current and evidence
based. These courses are funded in partnership with the NHS and supported by
NHS Grampian Managed Clinical Network for Stroke.

Course Aim:
To develop the core knowledge of health and social care staff and facilitate further
development of their skills and confidence when working with people affected by
stroke and their families. This course is aligned to the Stroke Core Competencies
for Healthcare Staff, developed by NHS Education Scotland (NES 2005). The
course content and delivery has been endorsed by NES.

The courses are free of charge with your manager’s permission to attend.
