Improving Health:Developing Effective Practice (IHDEP)- Training Course

Course aim: To increase confidence and effectiveness in improving health and taking action to reduce health inequalities, by providing a framework which will guide reflective practice.

This accredited blended learning training course includes:
1) Analysis of models of health and socio-political influences on health outcomes.
2) Health inequalities and what works to reduce health inequalities.
3) Working with and delivering effective services to individuals and communities.
4) How to make personal use of effective practice.

The training is held over 4 days with induction being Wednesday 25 January 2017 @ 9am-12noon in Seminar Room, Woodend Hospital
Day 1 – Wednesday 22 February 2017 @ 9.30am-4pm in Ythan Room
Day 2 – Wednesday 29 March 2017 @ 9.30am-4pm in Ythan Room
Day 3 – Wednesday 19 April 2017 @ 9.30am-4pm in Deveron Room.
