In Grampian we are working towards the implementation of the Healthy Start Scheme.

Healthy Start is a UK-wide government scheme to improve the health of pregnant women and families on benefits or low incomes and pregnant under-18 year olds.  Families who qualify for the scheme receive vouchers to spend on milk, fresh fruit and vegetables and formula milk.  Along with the vouchers they are eligible for free Healthy Start vitamins.
