Aberdeenshire Wellbeing Network - What We Do

A range of Government health improvement targets exist (HEAT targets) which we work to achieve.

Managing our performance helps us plan, develop and evaluate work, taking into account the needs of the Aberdeenshire population while recognising national and regional policy direction.  Performance Management reports are submitted to the Aberdeenshire Health Improvement Group.

There are a number of plans that have been developed with a wide range of partners that we work to.  These include:

  • Single Outcome Agreement (SOA) - CPP partnership agreement with priority local outcomes and indicators to achieve the Government national outcomes.
  • Improving Health and Wellbeing - Planning Guidance for Aberdeenshire - an Integrated Approach (2008 - 2012) - recent updated version of the previous Joint Health Improvement Plan (document available here soon). It outlines background detail for Aberdeenshire, current priorities and how these are being progressed.
  • Aberdeenshire Public Health Team Workplan

More information on current work can be found in Aberdeenshire Public Health Team: Recent Activities and Developments (December 2011) or by topic area below.
