Better Care Without Delay - CHAIN Subgroup

A new on-line interest group BETTER CARE WITHOUT DELAY

NHS Grampian is facilitating a sub group of CHAIN (Contacts, Help, Advice and Information Network).  This interest group aspires to encourage:

• Learning and sharing practice on the systems, processes and technology which help to measure the whole patient pathway from referral to treatment
• Sharing experiences on the support considered most useful for service improvement and service redesign

Currently there are 1173 members in this sub group. 

CHAIN itself originated 12 years ago in the NHS and is now an international online community of about 7,000 people who are willing to share their understanding with each other. The community includes frontline healthcare practitioners from all professions, managers, educators, researchers and knowledge specialists. 

Enthusiasm for the subject, a role in health and social care, and a willingness to share details of one's interests, experience and to respond to other members' questions are the only criteria for joining.  Membership is free.

We believe this is a dynamic way to learn from each other to achieve Better Care without Delay and achievement of the 18 weeks RTT treatment standard.
