HI-Net (Grampian Health Improvement Network) is an interactive, web-based communication tool and virtual network for those who are pushing forward the health improvement agenda in Grampian. The need for HI-Net has come about due to the increasing emphasis at both national and local level, on concerted and consistent effort from a range of staff working across professional boundaries to achieve success with targets for health improvement. HI-Net provides a focal point for health improvement activity in Grampian, and organisations involved are NHS Grampian, the local authorities, educational establishments, the voluntary sector and any other interested individual, group or organisation.
HI-Net is aimed at professionals and those with an interest in health improvement. You don't have to be a registered member to use HI-Net, as the majority of the information held on HI-Net is freely available. Some information is restricted to registered members and some smaller groups of registered members who use HI-Net for group comminucation and storage of documents. Access to some features such as discussion fora, the members list, and the ability to contribute your own information to the site is restricted.
