HI-Net (Grampian Health Improvement Network) is a web-based communication tool aimed at health professionals in the Grampian area and across the North-East. The site is relevant for any professional whose job involves an aspect of health improvement. HI-Net's partners are NHS Grampian, Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeenshire Council, Moray Council, The University of Aberdeen, The Robert Gordon University, Grampian Police and Grampian Fire and Rescue - read more about our partners.

HI-Net offers health professionals the opportunity to access and share information. Organisations and departments are welcome to submit relevant information to the site. You can email hinet@nhs.net to submit information or please feel free to get in touch if you would like to discuss this further.
The majority of information on HI-Net is freely available to view but registration is required to view some restricted areas. Added benefits of becoming a registered member include access to the forums, where you can take part in ongoing discussions or create your own discussion thread. Members will also receive a monthly bulletin updating you on the latest information on HI-Net. Click here to register with HI-Net.
User surveys are conducted on an annual basis - you can read about the feedback gathered from these. Usage statistics for HI-Net are now also available for 2010 - 2011.
