Single Outcome Agreements

Joint Health Improvement Plans (JHIP)

COSLA has proposed that a national framework for health improvement outcomes be developed, modelled on the Joint Future approach.  This framework would establish shared health improvement priorities for the Scottish Executive, local government, NHS Scotland,   and their Community Planning partners.  An improvement model based on shared priorities would ensure greater ownership of the outcomes by all partners and facilitate more effective joint health improvement planning and activity.  Joint Health Improvement Planning has been in place since 2002/03.
