Registering with HI-Net

Before you provide your details to register, we want to tell you how we will use your data.

HI-Net is an interactive communication tool and virtual network for all professionals in NHS Grampian, Local Authorities, Education, the Voluntary Sector and all partner organisations pushing forward Health Improvement in Grampian.

To register with HI-Net you need to give us some information to enable us to administer the service. If you wish to change any details or choose to de-register at any time contact us.

What information do we collect?

When you register as a user, we will collect the information necessary to provide the service, which includes, as a minimum, your name, organisation name, job title, and e-mail address. We promise that the information you provide will not be used for marketing purposes.

What do we use your personal information for?

We want to provide a service that is personalised to each of our visitors. We also want to give you control of what your receive as a result of registering with HI-Net including:

  • to contact you to provide access to a tailored environment built around your specified interests
  • to contact you to notify you by email bulletins when information relating to your interests is added to the site
  • to forward you a copy of the monthly newsletter
  • to provide you with update bulletins
  • to allow group communication by Forum / email
  • to enable administration of the site by the HI-Net Team

The information will also be used for statistical purposes.  Before submitting you are requested to read the HI-Net terms and conditions.
